Prep Procedure:

All Test Prep is customized.

Before working with any student on preparation for the High School Entrance Exams (HSPT for Catholic high schools, SSAT and ISEE for independent high schools),  we require that they take a practice exam.  This provides us with the information we need to create a customized tutoring plan for the student.

All test-prep is done one-on-one. The testing atmosphere is relaxed and intended to give the students:

• A feel for what the real exam is like: HSPT, SSAT, ISEE
• Practice with the endurance required for a long test
• A chance to work out procedural kinks so that they are not thrown off by procedural details when they take the test that counts

For students who are sitting for the test for the first time, we provide them an overview of the test and help them feel comfortable with the test booklet, and answer sheet.

After the practice test, EDNavigators provides and analyzes the diagnostic results and makes a recommendation on how many one-on-one sessions to schedule.  A typical student meets for five sessions, but many students/families choose to meet more.

See availability and schedule practice test here.
